Autumn Week 3:  Pick a Colour
This week's photography club theme was: Pick a Colour

Mr Lax's special mentions:

Photographers often obsess about light, as having the right lighting can make an image a success and the wrong lighting can ruin an image. But colour is almost as important and this week's theme has made everyone take a closer look at the world around them. I have picked out just two of my favourite images this week because they really stood out to me.

The first one is by Lottie in Year 7 who has created a montage of yellow photos. It is not just the fact they are yellow that make it a success. There are tight crops, interesting textures and the arrangement of the photos has been carefully considered.

The second one is by Grace T in Year 8 who has chosen the colour pink. It's a lovely photo, but what I like about it is the range of pinks. some objects are vibrant pink, while others are more beige. Together they make a great composition.
